Kudos to the team at AOL’s UK women’s site MyDaily.co.uk – they’ve just signed Christopher Kane as a new contributing editor.
The Brit designer, who is showing at London Fashion Week on Monday sponsored by the site (full disclosure: MyDaily has invited me as a press guest, hurrah), will be providing exclusive fashion-inspired content based on his travels around the world, his opinions on the industry and his guides on what to do and where to go in each fashion capital.
The deal, which follows on the heels of a similar one with Dannii Minogue, also sees new and exclusive portrait photography of Kane released on the site.
Carla Bevan, editor-in-chief of MyDaily, said: “Christopher has very quickly established himself as one of fashion’s leading lights and we’re enormously pleased to have him on board, adding to MyDaily’s growing line-up of world recognised talent. This latest agreement only reinforces AOL’s commitment to premium content and MyDaily’s steps to consolidating its position as one of the country’s most respected women’s titles.”
For anyone interested in attending the show, MyDaily is offering readers the chance to win a pair of tickets – check out twitter.com/mydailyuk for more details.
